Preparing for the DELF or DALF exam requires more than general French knowledge. At French Language Solutions, we offer focused exam preparation designed to help you understand the test format, improve accuracy, and perform with confidence on exam day.

Packs are booked as a continuous block of classes: you complete all your hours in consecutive weeks. A 15-hour pack at 2 hours per week takes about 7½ weeks.

Private classes
Private classes can be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Up to 3 consecutive classes may be rescheduled at one time.
Group classes
Group classes run on a fixed schedule, so they don’t have rescheduling or make-up classes. If you miss one, you’ll still receive all the material covered in class and all the homework, so you can catch up before the next session. Online group classes are also recorded — you can watch the class back in full. We don’t record in-person classes.

What Our DELF/DALF Preparation Includes
Each DELF and DALF level has unique expectations. We provide targeted preparation for all levels, from A1 through C2, ensuring lessons align with the structure, timing, and scoring criteria of your specific exam.
You will practice sample questions, review marking guidelines, and learn strategies to approach each section with clarity. Instruction focuses on building accuracy, clarity of expression, and confidence under exam conditions.
Skill Development for All Exam Sections
Our preparation covers all four tested competencies: reading comprehension, written expression, listening comprehension, and oral expression. Lessons focus on improving performance in weaker areas while reinforcing strengths.
Speaking practice includes structured responses, argument development, and pronunciation feedback. Writing support focuses on organization, grammar accuracy, and responding clearly to exam prompts.

Frequently Ask Questions
Yes. If you decide that in-person classes would be better, or vice versa, that’s not a problem. Just let your instructor know, and we can help you move into another class.
Yes! All our teachers are certified native French speakers with extensive teaching experience and education.
Our language accelerator exercises are designed to reinforce learning between classes. Just like learning an instrument, it is important to practice outside of class.
If you don’t know a single word of French, no worries! We teach at all different levels, including those who are beginners. We will move at a pace that works for you so that you not only learn the language properly but also enjoy the classes.
The time it takes to become fluent varies for each individual. It will largely depend on factors such as prior knowledge, the amount of practice, and consistency in attending sessions. Our tutors will work with you to set realistic goals and help you progress at a pace that suits you.
Our tutors provide regular feedback and progress reports to help you track your development. We also do in-class exercises and practice tests to help you get an idea of where you are at. If you or your child is not progressing, we will offer help and more language accelerators to do outside of class.
