Originally graduated in the field of environmental studies and science communication, I had the opportunity to teach French for two years as a language assistant at the University of La Paz in Mexico. Florence Horthence is my name. I am currently a Ph.D. student. Teaching is my family heirloom. A part from teaching, I also have experiences as Head Teacher of a secondary school in Cameroon, as teacher in Saint Paul’s Convent school and as Assistant Pastoral care in Saint Paul secondary school Happy Valley in Hong Kong.

Improving skills and learning a new language is magical. 

My name is Mélodie and I am a new French teacher in Canada, I will be a certified French teacher DAEFLE in 2025. 

I used to work in healthcare for 11 years in France and Switzerland, so I am patient and empathetic. I started learning English at the end of 2020 and this sparked an interest to share my passion of language learning with students by teaching my native language.

Meeting people through language learning has been a tremendous experience. My passion for education and dedication to a positive learning environment will contribute greatly to helping you achieve your objectives.
