Originally from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, I grew up in Switzerland, where I earned a Master’s degree in Educational Sciences with a specialisation in Adult Education. I have been teaching French for several years in Switzerland, Quebec, and now Toronto. I enjoy creating dynamic and supportive lessons where everyone can learn at their own pace. Originally graduated in the field of environmental studies and science communication, I had the opportunity to teach French for two years as a language assistant at the University of La Paz in Mexico. Florence Horthence is my name. I am currently a Ph.D. student. Teaching is my family heirloom. A part from teaching, I also have experiences as Head Teacher of a secondary school in Cameroon, as teacher in Saint Paul’s Convent school and as Assistant Pastoral care in Saint Paul secondary school Happy Valley in Hong Kong.
